1Legal annex E

Acceptable use policy.

1.0Summary

What the platform may not be used for, and what happens if it is. This annex forms part of the Terms of service.

Effective September 30, 2026

E.1Clause

Purpose

SOLVIEN relies on regulated payment providers and acquiring partners, which set rules about what may be sold through them. This policy applies those rules, and our own, to every account.

E.2Clause

Prohibited activities

You may not use the service for, or in connection with:

  • goods or services that are illegal where they are sold or where they are delivered;
  • fraud, deceptive or misleading sales practices, or pyramid and similar schemes;
  • money laundering, terrorist financing, or dealings with sanctioned persons or territories;
  • content that exploits minors, or that promotes violence or hatred against a group of people;
  • goods that infringe intellectual property rights, including counterfeits;
  • weapons, controlled substances or other items whose sale is restricted by law, without the authorisations that law requires;
  • gambling or lotteries carried on without the licence required by law.

E.3Clause

Activities needing approval

Some lawful activities carry a higher risk of disputes or regulatory attention. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, describe it to contact@solvien.io before you start processing. We will tell you in writing whether it can be accepted and on what conditions.

E.4Clause

Conduct on the platform

You must not:

  • process payments for a business other than the one declared on your account;
  • split, disguise or mislabel transactions to avoid checks or limits;
  • submit transactions you know or suspect to be fraudulent or unauthorised;
  • probe, bypass or interfere with the security of the platform, or overload it;
  • share your API keys with anyone not acting for your business;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it.

E.5Clause

Enforcement

We may review transactions and accounts for compliance with this policy. If we find a breach, we may refuse or reverse a transaction, suspend processing, delay a payout or close the account, as provided in the Terms of service. Payment providers and acquiring partners may apply their own measures. Where the law requires it, we report unlawful activity to the competent authorities.

E.6Clause

Reporting a breach

To report a merchant you believe is breaching this policy, write to contact@solvien.io with the name of the business and what you observed.
