Terms of service.

By using this website or opening a SOLVIEN account, you agree to these terms, to the Acceptable use policy (Annex E) and to the Privacy policy (Annex C). If you act for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

SOLVIEN provides software that lets a business accept online payments in several currencies, screen transactions for fraud, calculate applicable taxes, consult reports, handle disputes and receive payouts.

Payment processing and the holding and settlement of funds are carried out by regulated third-party payment providers and acquiring partners. SOLVIEN LLC is not a bank and does not itself hold your funds. You may be asked to accept the terms of those third parties, and to supply the information they need to verify your business.

• You must give accurate information about your business and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for your API keys and credentials and for what is done with them.
• You must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
• The service is for business use, not for personal or household purposes.

The fees for your plan are those published on the Pricing sheet when you open your account, or those agreed with you in writing. On the Standard plan the fee is 8.9% + €0.40 per transaction and a 10% rolling reserve applies. No setup fee is charged on any plan.

A reserve is a portion of processed funds held back for a period to cover reversals, chargebacks and similar liabilities, and released on a rolling basis.

Payouts are made on a next-day schedule unless you choose a different schedule. A payout may be delayed or withheld where that is required by law, by a payment provider or acquiring partner, or where a transaction is under review for fraud, dispute or breach of these terms.

The platform calculates VAT, GST and sales tax on your transactions from the information available to it. You remain responsible for your own tax registrations, filings and payments, and for checking that the result is right for your business.

The platform helps you respond to disputes raised by buyers. You remain liable for the amount of any chargeback, refund or reversal on your transactions. Such amounts may be deducted from your reserve or from later payouts.

You must use the service lawfully and in line with the Acceptable use policy. We may suspend processing for an activity that breaches it.

The platform, its software, documentation and this website belong to SOLVIEN LLC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for your business while your account is open. Your own content and data remain yours.

There is no minimum term. You may close your account at any time by writing to contact@solvien.io. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, presents an unacceptable risk, or where a payment provider or the law requires it.

After closure, amounts held in reserve are released as they fall due, and you remain liable for chargebacks and reversals on transactions made before closure.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOLVIEN LLC disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or free of error.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOLVIEN LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify SOLVIEN LLC against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your products or services, or your dealings with your own customers.

We may update these terms. The current version is always this annex, with its effective date shown above. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you and SOLVIEN LLC consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
